Chief Minister Pramod Sawant waved off a bus carrying pilgrims to the renowned Tirupati shrine in Andhra Pradesh, marking the launch of the Mukhyamantri Dev Darshan Yatra Yojana. Seats for the free pilgrimage are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition to Tirupati, the Mukhyamantri Devdarshan Yatra Yojana also covers two other prominent religious destinations: Velankanni, a popular pilgrimage center in Tamil Nadu renowned for the Church of Mother Mary, and Shirdi, the famous shrine of Sai Baba located in neighboring Maharashtra.
